FAQ's
Are You Affiliated With the WCB ?
No. I am an independent advocate who is solely there for the best interest of the injured worker. I am not paid by OR associated with WCB or the Government of Alberta. I have a vested interest in the injured worker as I have seen first-hand what can happen if an injured worker does not have an independent advocate working for them. This is why I charge for my services.
1. I review your claim(s) from the beginning to the end and appeal issues that have been adjudicated but denied as well as review for any entitlements that have been missed and never offered to the worker. I also review to make sure all medical conditions related to the accident are accepted. Free advocacy services do not provide this level of service.
2. I am the primary contact on your claim going forward so that you do not have the stress of dealing with WCB.
3. I will monitor and review all correspondence coming from WCB and appeal any further issues if required.
4. I am certified to provide advisory services to you with respect to return to work planning and disability management practices. I am a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP).
5. Based on your claim type, I request a medical opinion from your treating physician(s) to assist in supporting your potential benefits, entitlements, or medical conditions.

Do You Only Take Current Active Claims?
No. I take current, active, and older claims. I had past success in reviewing claims that are several years old so if you had an injury in the 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s and you think you were missed entitlements then give me a call. I would be happy to speak with you about your claim.
